THE ISLAND

Ikaria is an island in the Northeastern Aegean which belongs to the county of Samos. Its capital and central port is Agios Kyrikos (Southeast coast), while the most popular port is Evdilos (North Coast).Ikaria is knows both for its natural beauties, (with a great variety of topographic characteristics, such as thick green forests, rocky mountain hideouts, gorges, rivers and beautiful beaches for all tastes!) but also for its cultural diversity (as the unique Ikarian lifestyle and its famous festivals during the summer have created a myth around the Island waiting for you to discover).

THE BEACH  

Thenaluboys surf school can be found on Mesakti Beach, which is located on the North Side of Ikaria Island, 11 km from Evdilos Port and 52 km from Ikaria Airport. The long stretch of sandy beach is located at one of the greenest spots of the island and is known for its clear blue waters and all-day fun.The two traditional fishing villages of Gialiskari and Armenistis, are located within a kilometer from the beach and attract many visitors, making the general area a popular tourist destination.
It is also a popular destination among many Greek surfers, as, during the summer, it offers a consistent beach break, suitable for both beginners and intermediate surfers.
